An emotionally stunning performance of Ded Mazai and Nat Nata. A deep, lyrical and yet very sharp piece of art that made the audience cry. It was surely a very touching love story, but the symbolics of colored ribbons gave it more layers and a context of today’s tragic Israeli history. Not only ropes were speaking, but the eyes as well, and the bright light on the white outfit.  A story of pain and hope, but also of love, the one that always overcomes death and violence.

Old magic books tell us that you may get power over the world if you summon a mighty demon to serve you. The ritual of summoning is complicated and unforgiving to mistakes: you need to draw the runes right, say the words of a spell, and after the demon appears you must seal the place of his entrance so that no one else comes after him, attracted by the smell of a fresh human soul which the hellish creatures are hungry for. But there's a problem: no one ever checked if the demon will really obey the summoner and if he even lets you close the portal!

About seminar ‘Tactile Conversations: Navigating Communication and Consent in Shibari’ at the Festival

Shibari is not just about knots, harnesses, suspensions, and transitions, but also about tactile sensations that convey and define the emotional connection between partners. In this seminar, we will explore how the perception of tying is shaped through touch, which tactile techniques enhance interaction, and how to express emotions through the rope.

We will discuss the importance of pace, pressure, and texture in tactile contact, the role of breath and rhythm in tying, and how to develop mindfulness in touch. With a mix of theory, demonstration, and practice, you’ll learn how to make your shibari even more sensual, intentional, and deeply connected.

This workshop will be like taking a journey into passion, intentions and eroticism. It will be taught how Sarca structures a session from start to finish, the main focuses will be 3: bringing the bottom into your world, therefore the initial phase; the journey, therefore all that part that involves suspension and transitions; bring the bottom back to reality, then bring them back from the trip and aftercare. This workshop is open to experienced, intermediate and beginners. The class could be split up. Parts 1 and 3 will be the same for everyone, part 2 will be divided like this. Beginers: floor game, requires 4 ropes Intermediate: half suspension, requires 6 strings Advanced: suspension, requires 10 ropes

This workshop is a part of BalkanBound FestiveWeek.

For bottoms this workshop gives the opportunity to take a journey within themselves, to find their limits and try to overcome them in a fun state of challenge. For riggers, however, the challenge will be to understand the bottom, challenge them and take care of them, thus stimulating empathy. For this workshop, intermediate experience, fluency with ropes and safety in closing suspension lines are required. At least 8 ropes and a bamboo one and a half meters long and 3/6 in diameter will be needed (we will provide you with everything if needed)

BreathPlay with Sarca.
This workshop is a part of BalkanBound FestiveWeek.

A fun and very deep class where we can experience the world of connection and play between two people. It will be a suspension course, so fluency in the ropes and the ability to close the suspension lines safely are required. At the workshop we will be taught a version of Tengu by Sarca, connected to breathing and also a tie to be able to order the bottom to self-block breathing or block it ourselves in a completely safe way. For the course, 10 ropes and two bamboo or sticks one and a half meters high are required and with a diameter around 3/5 centimiters (we will provide you with everything if needed)

Sarca, rigger, performer and international Shibari master. He started tying in 2015 and has dedicated his life to ropes ever since. Owner of "Alkèmia Rope academy" in Tuscany, Italy, he has held workshops and performances in Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Greece, Israel, Argentina, Chile and continues to be very active in the international community, with many projects on respect, communication and ethics. Sarca immediately dedicated his research into the strings to create his own style that did not remain confined behind some specific style. Eroticism, sensuality, the search to create the "here and now" between rigger and bunny, art and sadism, are the spices that have made his style unmistakable.

Sarca has created his own style, his own aesthetic. During these years he has refined his technique, directing it to give more prominence to the emotional and transcendental part of the ropes, a real journey where a bubble is created between two people, leaving the rest outside. If I tell you that with one slight movement of a hand you may make a person literally fall on their knees before you, you’ll believe me – you’ve seen the topic of my seminar already.
Trigger points. Or the points of pain? What are these, how to find them and use for your BDSM purposes – this is what I’ll tell you at my seminar.
You’ll be surprized to know that there are a lot more trigger points than you can imagine. I’ll share the ways of pressin these “magical buttons”. Also I’ll show you what you can achieve mastering this tricky technique.
Personally I prefer not to use trigger points in my practices. The reason might appear not so trivial, but that’s what we’ll talk about at the seminar."

Karlson

Mikhail Karlson is a top, a dominant and a sadist from Belarus. Last two years he has been living in Georgia and participating in different events. Before that Mikhail was performing on festivals in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. Mikhail can’t be called an obvious rigger: he loves experimenting and doesn’t only use ropes – for him bondage is a lot more that the expected. Btw this will be the topic of his seminar on bondage without ropes. In 2019 at the MoscowKnot festival Karlson suspended a girl on her hair using his own hair as a suspension point. Unusual decisions and non-standard approach are the things he seeks in bondage.

In this unique session, we will explore my research into creating stable suspension shapes that allow for free forearm movement without compromising stability. By connecting hip harnesses to upper body configurations—such as gote or strapado—we can achieve a design that supports both vertical and upside-down positions. This approach ensures that the load is distributed on the hips rather than solely on the arms, enabling your partner to engage more freely during the suspension.
Throughout the workshop, we will also examine how to incorporate chest harnesses, transitions between strapado and tengu positions, and the principles of body manipulation inherent in Yagami Ryu."
