and that’s roughly how this project came to be 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒚��𝒖 ! 𝒅𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝑳𝒂𝒄𝒊𝒆 𝑬𝒗𝒐𝒏𝒔 🤩 ~ for the collab! it was a great starting point for understanding how i’d like to tell stories visually.🫧✧

and you know what? this won’t be a one-time thing…
teachers aren’t wrong when they insist on doing research i remembered this halfway through the comic and went back to study references. did it help me understand my vision better? absolutely! but i should’ve done it from the beginning. so while i finished the piece the same way i started it, i gained invaluable experience.✨

i’ll keep experimenting like this tweaking styles and storytelling approaches. and only when i look at the result and feel truly proud —
that’s when the world will gradually see my story in full color 🌷

Well, what can I say, I uploaded these assignments late 😋

So, these were two tasks one for three panels and another for nine panels. In the first one, we weren’t allowed to use words or numbers. As for the second one, I didn’t fully finish it because, well, it is what it is. I literally sent them to the teacher just a few minutes ago, and I already see mistakes, but since I did it on paper, there’s no point in fixing it now.

Also, I discovered caramel latte — it’s so delicious! If you get the chance, definitely try it 🙈🙈🙈

I’m extremely disappointed and even somewhat angry because everything I’ve been working on for about 4 weeks is going down the drain!
Since the start of the second semester in animation class, we’ve been studying how a character walks, AND I COULDN’T GET IT RIGHT. There were so many mistakes, and today, when I finally approached the teacher and showed her what I’d done, she said, “It’s good, but these aren’t your character’s proportions.” FUCK!!!
I’m already behind in this class, and this situation is just completely throwing me off. It doesn’t even compare to the time I wrote a 2000-word essay…
Looks like I’ll be spending the night at this university until I finish 😭

We started learning Photoshop, and I have a kind of trauma related to it. When I first opened it and saw how many buttons there were, I realized that this program was not for me. Even though both Photoshop and Clip Studio are in English, I eventually preferred the latter. And now, after a few years, I’ve opened it again. The interface no longer looks so scary, and it seems like you can customize it to your needs, but it still won’t be my top choice among programs 😚 Here are a few sketches from today’s lesson, we tested brushes that we liked🤍
