Tumaris.Tech is a project of IT Park Uzbekistan, launched in August 2020, that provides comprehensive support for women's entrepreneurial initiatives. The project aims to strengthen the involvement of women in the digital business ecosystem—from providing education to supporting startup development and investment training.


Since 2023, Tumaris.Tech has expanded across Central Asia, offering incubation and acceleration programs for women-led startups from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Tajikistan.

We welcome Women in Tech Global Summit guests to its award-winning pavilion of Uzbekistan at EXPO 2025 Osaka — an architectural and cultural journey titled “Garden of Knowledge.” Inspired by the country’s deep intellectual heritage and Silk Road legacy, the pavilion blends traditional forms with a bold vision for the future.

Designed by the renowned German studio ATELIER BRÜCKNER, the pavilion has received global acclaim and was recently named a winner of the World Architecture Community Award 2024. Its design features a flowing circular form and layered spaces that reflect the geometry of Uzbek madrasahs — reimagined as a symbol of dialogue, learning, and openness.

During the one-hour program, guests will explore the exhibition and gain insights into Uzbekistan’s ancient roots, vibrant culture, and forward-looking transformation. The experience offers a glimpse into how the country is positioning itself as a connector between East and West — investing in innovation, sustainability, and education while celebrating its unique identity.

🌱 Sustainability Day at BMU

On April 9, British Management University hosted a special event on sustainable development, co-organized with Women in Tech Uzbekistan and the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.

Our special guest from Switzerland, Matthew Kilgarriff, Network Ambassador for at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, shared insights into RICHEMONT’s ESG strategy, along with personal reflections from his bicycle journey across Europe.

We explored the role of startups, innovation, and personal responsibility in building a sustainable future.

Speakers included Ilkhomjon Aliev (UEnter, Green Start Initiative for startups), Malika Sharipova (CARE CSR), and Barnokhon Artikkhodjaeva (interactive quiz on sustainability).

The event was moderated by Anna Ambrozevich, Director at Women in Tech Uzbekistan, with the support of BMU’s Nigora Umarova, Sevara Djalalova, and Fotima Mirzabayeva.

For Women in Tech®Uzbekistan, this became an exceptional event thanks to our guests.

Dear Ayumi Moore Aoki, founder and CEO of Women In Tech® Global, who flew directly from Paris, opened the Roadshow with us in both cities. Ayumi shared the story of Women in Tech's creation and announced the key upcoming event - the Women In Tech® Global Summit in Japan featuring the Osaka Protocol for gender equality - emphasizing the importance of such initiatives.

Anna Ambrozevich, Director of Women in Tech®Uzbekistan, and Kristina Vanina, Youth Ambassador, shared opportunities available within the Women in Tech Community. Guests also visited educational institutions and viewed project presentations by female students from the Khorezm region.

Women in Tech Uzbekistan × British Management University: Kicking Off Our Collaboration 🤝

We celebrated Women's International Day at British Management University and it was a special one! Our Director, Anna Ambrozevich, and Youth Ambassador, Kristina Vanina, took the stage to present the Women in Tech community. It was our moment to share who we are, what we do, and how we’re empowering women and girls in STEAM.

But there’s more!

We announced the beginning of an exciting partnership between Women in Tech Uzbekistan and BMU. This collaboration will begin with the launch of our Ambassador Program—and we’ll soon reveal the new face of Women in Tech at BMU! Plus, stay tuned for upcoming events and initiatives aimed at supporting girls 👩🏻‍💻
