A chocolatier in Kent claims their creation is the UK's largest Easter egg.

The Good Egg, created by Chocolatiers Cocoba, weighs about 300kg and stands about 7ft tall.

And it took five members of staff a total of five days to complete, the company said.

"It's as deep as a jacuzzi bath,” said Reg Jassal, production manager at Cocoba.

Comedian Russell Brand has been charged with two counts of rape and multiple sexual assaults, the Metropolitan Police has said.

The actor has been charged over incidents dating back more than 20 years, with the alleged offences taking place between 1999 and 2005.

It comes after detectives began investigating in September 2023 after receiving a number of allegations following reporting by Channel 4's Dispatches and The Sunday Times.

Brand is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Friday May 2.

Students were let loose in an Age UK charity shop in Leicester to try and bring to life donated clothes.

The students, from De Montfort University's fashion communication and styling course, dressed up the models, who were then photographed around the city.

Age UK said it hoped the project would encourage a younger generation to value recycled clothes rather than fast fashion.

Primark boss Paul Marchant has resigned following an allegation by a woman about “his behaviour towards her in a social environment”.

Associated British Foods (ABF), which owns Primark, said following an investigation by external lawyers, Mr Marchant "acknowledged his error of judgement”.

They added that Marchant – who became the chief executive of Primark in 2009 - co-operated with the investigation and apologised to the individual.

Manchester United has announced ambitious plans to build a new stadium with a seating capacity of 100,000, estimated to cost approximately $2.6 billion (£2 billion).

The proposed arena, designed by the renowned British architect Norman Foster, would replace Old Trafford and surpass Wembley as the largest stadium in the U.K.

Part-owner Jim Ratcliffe, who acquired a 25% stake in the club last year, emphasized the need for a modern stadium befitting United’s global stature. He envisions it as becoming a landmark attraction similar to the Eiffel Tower, drawing fans from around the world.
