Activities:

Ask: *“What kind of person are you? What words can you use to describe a person?”*
Brief class discussion or brainstorm on the board.
- Vocabulary Box (2–3 min):
Students look at the Vocabulary Box on the page and read the adjectives. Teacher models pronunciation and elicits meanings through mime, examples or L1 if needed.
- Listening 2.28 (5 min):
Students listen and repeat the sentences (ex. 1). Pause after each to check understanding.
Discuss any tricky words or grammar structures (e.g., "I'm clever", "She's helpful").
2. Practice (Controlled Practice) (15–18 minutes) так, мы наTo practice new vocabulary in controlled, guided activities.

Students complete the sentences using vocabulary. Then check in pairs and as a class.

- Ex. 4 (Listening 2.29) (5 min):
Students listen to Sam and Sue. Tick or cross the correct adjectives (friendly, funny, sporty).
Check in pairs, then as a class. Justify answers: *“Why is Sam friendly?”*
