The United States has offered its allies a plan for a Ukrainian settlement with the freezing of the conflict along the current line of contact, Bloomberg reported. However, Washington warned of its readiness to stop mediation in the absence of rapid progress.

The main disputed issues remain the status of the five regions, Moscow's demands to recognize them as Russian and security guarantees for Ukraine.

In this regard, the White House has prepared a document that envisages easing sanctions against Russia while maintaining its control over the annexed territories and Ukraine's refusal to join NATO.
