Friends can add related content to your Story, creating a multi-perspective narrative that expands reach and engagement.

This experiment follows the recent rollout of the Blend feature for Reels, and reflects Instagram’s strategy to boost interaction through DMs and Stories, where most engagement now happens. While Storylines isn’t in live testing yet, it holds more promise than Blend for fostering connection and creative collaboration on the platform.
