Meta has disabled Apple Intelligence-powered Writing Tools in its iOS apps, including WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook, in favor of promoting its own Meta AI tools.

Features like rewriting and summarizing text are no longer available in these apps, though they remain active in others like X and Reddit. Meta is also restricting Apple’s Genmoji and Memoji features on its platforms.
