Instagram has launched a new feature called "Blend," allowing users to create a shared, personalized Reels feed with a friend through direct messages. This invite-only feature, which has been in testing for over a year, curates Reels based on the viewing habits of both users.

Once a friend accepts an invitation, a dedicated Reels feed is generated, which updates as new content is shared. Users can react with emojis or chat within the Blend interface. While currently limited to Reels, it remains uncertain if the feature will expand to include other content types. The Blend feature is now available globally on iOS and Android.
