Instagram has rolled out a feature allowing users to play Reels at 2x speed, helping them consume longer content more quickly. This update comes as Instagram extends Reels from 15 seconds to 3 minutes, competing with platforms like TikTok.

The fast-forward option, activated by long-pressing on the screen, encourages users to watch the entire video. Additionally, WhatsApp has introduced a new feature allowing users to add music clips to their Status updates. These clips can be up to 15 seconds for photos and 60 seconds for videos, and the music is end-to-end encrypted for privacy.
