International Media School "Balkans and BRICS+" in Belgrade

From March 14 to 16, 2025, the international media school "Balkans and BRICS+" will be held in Belgrade, organized by the NGO "Ragusa" with the support of the Gorchakov Fund.

The program includes expert lectures, practical workshops, and discussions with professionals. The media school is designed as an educational platform where participants can deepen their understanding of key issues regarding the cooperation between Balkan countries and BRICS+ and acquire practical skills in working with information.

Key topics of the project:
• Geopolitics of BRICS+: The alliance's role in shifting the global balance of power and fostering international stability.
• Economic and legal mechanisms: Development of independent payment systems, prospects of a common currency, and more.
• Energy: Cooperation in energy security, investments in sustainable energy sources, and tackling supply challenges.
• Cultural and scientific cooperation: Student exchanges, joint research projects, and the promotion of cultural ties among member countries.
• Role of the media: Practical skills for accessing information sources, combating disinformation, and specific approaches to reporting on BRICS+ in journalism.
• Creative industries: Content creation, including documentaries, infographics, and media campaigns to raise awareness about BRICS+.
• Practical assignments: Preparing analytical materials, creating video content, and developing media strategies related to BRICS+ themes.
• Future of the alliance: Potential expansion, strengthening ties between the Balkans and BRICS+, and the prospects of establishing a regional BRICS+ representative office.
