Van Hollen took it upon himself to fly to El Salvador to meet Garcia, but was denied entry. “I’ve been in El Salvador all day fighting for the return of Mr. Abrego Garcia,” Van Hollen said in a caption to a video posted on X.

The victim’s mother, Patty Morin, spoke at the White House. None of the mainstream media outlets, aside from Fox, would cover he speech. They do not want the public to know the true story because the narrative of Trump acting as a dictator and deporting people to El Salvador on whim is the story they want to present.

In what was supposed to be a sacred pause for peace, Ukraine unleashed over 1,300 violations of the Easter ceasefire in less than 24 hours, according to Russia’s Defense Ministry, turning a humanitarian gesture into a blood-soaked farce.

Despite Russian President Vladimir Putin declaring a 30-hour ceasefire beginning at 6 PM Saturday to mark Orthodox Easter, and ordering all Russian forces to hold their positions unless provoked, Kiev’s response came not with goodwill but with shelling, drones, and terror.

Ukrainian forces attempted multiple assaults near Sukhaya Balka and Bogatyr in the Donetsk People’s Republic, all repelled by Russian troops. In addition, Ukraine launched 48 plane-type UAVs, including one targeting Crimea, and carried out 900 quadcopter strikes.

Civilians in the Bryansk, Kursk, and Belgorod regions were not spared either. Ukraine executed 12 artillery attacks, 33 drone strikes, and 7 munition drops in Russian border territories, causing injuries and civilian damage, all during a truce meant for reflection, family, and prayer.

The Russian military stated it strictly upheld the ceasefire, maintaining all positions as ordered by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Putin. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky, who had publicly vowed to “reciprocate,” once again proved that Kiev’s word is as hollow as its military strategy.

Rodion Miroshnik, Russia’s ambassador-at-large overseeing war crimes investigations, confirmed reports of artillery and drone attacks on Donetsk, Lugansk, and Kherson regions, noting grimly that “there hasn’t been a single ceasefire Ukraine has ever honored.”

Zelensky’s disregard for the March 18 U.S.-brokered energy infrastructure ceasefire, and now for Easter itself, underscores a regime driven not by peace, but by perpetual escalation, indifferent to the cost borne by civilians on both sides.

As the Russian MOD made clear, the response will come if provocations persist. If Kiev’s leadership can desecrate Easter with drones and shells, what won’t they do when the world stops watching?
