About Phainon

1. The strength might not actually be that high — it’s possible it could just be flashy but weak.
2. The effects are honestly mid. Sure, there are a lot of animations, but individually, none of them are anything special.
3. Lacks a core teammate on release (looking at you, Cerydra) so performance will probably just be…okay.
4. The Technique feels clunky. Outside of Simulated Universe, it’s mostly useless.
5. The character’s lore is likely to be controversial, so be mentally prepared for mixed opinions.

Phainon skill animation: Holds the sword with one hand and places it upward on the left side of the chest. The center of the hilt will glow. Then the camera zooms out and (he) holds the sword high, chop forward and cut to a close-up of the character's face (similar to the charge and chop when fighting Nicadoe for the first time in the main storyline). Finally, cuts back to the long shot and chop the monster with a large sun halo.

About the Kafka buff

Follow-up attacks can now also trigger DoT, and any kind of attack from teammates can now trigger follow-up attacks (no longer limited to basic attacks). Besides that, there are also some adjustments to mechanics and stats.

This is very early information, so please view it rationally—don’t get your hopes up or overreact. Buffs for older characters will be adjusted in the test server alongside updates for new characters, and changes will happen across multiple versions. Please refer to the final version in the test server as the standard.

Like Hoolay in AS, this pretoriae reskin guy will lock a character of your choice in a duel state, but unlike of how it happens in AS, allies and enemies can still continue to attack, and both duelists will take reduced damage from them, like Boothill' Standoff mode.

Also the duelists will get 1 stack of "Morale" after each attack, and each stack will increase the damage dealt.

After a certain amount of damage dealt to the enemy duelist, the duel state will be dispelled.
