New Hampshire: The Strafford County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who allegedly assaulted a deputy in Somersworth.

Jamie Lanciano, 39, of Dover, is accused of reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, driving while a habitual offender and disobeying an officer after an incident during a traffic stop Friday morning in Somersworth.

Officials said a deputy and officers from the Somersworth Police Department were conducting a traffic stop at about 8 a.m. on Stackpole Road, but after he was stopped, Lanciano allegedly took off.

Officials with the sheriff's office would not say what the actual assault was against the deputy, but they said he suffered minor injuries but is OK.

A Southern California mayor facing a recall effort is coming under fire after his suggestion to ending his city’s homelessness issue was “giving them all the fentanyl they want.”

The comments were made by longtime Lancaster Mayor Rex Parris during a city council meeting on Feb. 25. The comments have surfaced in recent days since he gave an interview to Fox 11 this week, where he doubled down on the sentiment.

Police Officer Scott Morrow has retired from the Carmel Police Department, Indiana, after 20 years of service. Well done Brother.

New Jersey: On March 28th, 2025 Kearny Police responded to reports of a repeat shoplifter at a Shopping Plaza.

The suspect had already hit a second store that day, stuffing large garbage bags with merchandise while his car idled in the fire lane outside. When confronted by police as he exited the store, the suspect refused to stop.

During the attempted arrest, a struggle broke out and the suspect struck an officer with his car while fleeing the scene. He escaped into Newark.

A few hours later, with the assistance of the Newark Police Department, the vehicle was located in the Clinton Hill neighborhood of Newark. It was seized and the suspect was arrested and transported to the Kearny Police Department.

Thankfully, the officer’s injuries were determined to be non-life threatening.

Texas: A San Antonio police officer was injured Friday night while trying to move a drunk man out of traffic near the Alamodome. 

The officer was directing traffic at about 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Hoefgen Avenue and East César Chávez Boulevard, a San Antonio police report states. 

A 63-year-old man, who police said was intoxicated and belligerent, was attempting to cross the intersection and became argumentative with the officer.

The man started walking across the street and into oncoming traffic, police said.

The officer grabbed the man to move him out of the way when the man fell on top of the officer.

Police said the officer has a possible fracture to his lower extremity and had to be transported to an area hospital.

Three burglary suspects are on the run, and a homeowner is shaken up, after a violent home-invasion robbery in Beverly Grove late Friday night.

Washington DC: Six arrested after multiple fights involving Astronauts broke out on Water Street, Navy Yard last night.

D.C police said they arrested six people, five for disorderly conduct and another for assault on a police officer

The officer was not seriously injured and no other serious injuries were reported, officials said.

NEW: Four people were on board a plane that crashed in Trilla, and Illinois State Police is currently conducting a "fatal aircraft investigation."

The Coles County Coroner's Office has confirmed there were four fatalities in the airplane crash. State Police reported it is investigating this crash of a small single engine airplane on Coles County Road 1400N between U.S. 45 and Trilla. Wreckage is on the road, which is closed to traffic. Ameren Illinois has confirmed the crash caused an outage that has left about 80 Trilla area customers without power.

Arizona: A police officer was among two people injured in an accident with another vehicle in Phoenix on Thursday evening, according to the authorities.

The wreck was reported in the area of 27th Avenue and Rose Lane at about 9:20 p.m. April 17.

According to the report, a Phoenix police officer collided with another driver under unclear circumstances.

The officer was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. The other driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.

The Roanoke Police Department, Virginia, sadly announced the line of duty death of K-9 Knox.

On April 18, 2025, approximately 1:40 a.m., officers observed a stolen vehicle at a gas station in the 3900 block of Melrose Ave NW.

Officers attempted a traffic stop and the vehicle fled. After a short pursuit, the vehicle became inoperable in the 4200 block of Vermont Ave NW. The driver ran from the car, and K-9 Knox was released to apprehend the suspect. During the release of the K-9, another officer continued in his police vehicle and struck K-9 Knox.

Knox was immediately taken to Emergency Veterinarian Services where he later died.

JUST IN: Multiple arrests at "Justice for Austin Metcalf" protest in Frisco, after an Antifa Transgender appears to have released pepper spray.

A Massachusetts State Police trooper was injured when the motorcycle he was driving crashed and landed in a small body of water on Saturday morning.

The crash occurred near Revolutionary War reenactments and festivities.

The trooper lost control of the motorcycle due to debris in the road and crashed into a small body of water off the side of the road, according to state police.

The trooper suffered non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to be treated and released.

Shot in the line of duty, seriously injured, Fulton County Police Officer Zahir Muid did not give up.

In the moments that mattered most, Officer Muid helped save a life.

Officer Muid and South Fulton Lt Chuck Cook were both shot near Atlanta yesterday.

Lt Cook was critically injured.

Thankfully, Officer Muid was able to fight through his own injuries to reder life saving aid to Lt Cook.

Officer Muid was treated at the hospital yesterday afternoon and released back home.

Lt Cook is still in the hospital in critical condition.

We so thankful for their bravery and the quick thinking by Officer Muid that helped save Lt Cook’s life.

4/14/25: A smuggler in a red Dodge Ram led TxDPS Troopers on a high-speed vehicle pursuit on IH-35 in Webb County.

During the pursuit, the smuggler, Alexander Velma, from Laredo, Texas, crashed into another vehicle.

Troopers found one illegal immigrant in the bed of Velma’s truck. Troopers charged Velma with smuggling of persons with a likelihood of serious bodily injury or death and failure to stop and render aid.

Troopers referred one illegal immigrant to the US Border Patrol. #OperationLoneStar

The Early Church revered Holy Saturday as a day of awe, reflecting on Christ’s conquest over the infernal powers. Liturgies and homilies, like those of Melito of Sardis, vividly depicted Jesus storming Hades, binding the devil, and leading the patriarchs to glory. This wasn’t a mere footnote—it was central to the Paschal mystery, showing Christ’s total dominion over evil.

Yet, the Modern Church often overlooks Holy Saturday, reducing it to a quiet pause before Easter. We’ve lost the fire of this truth: that Christ’s descent was no passive act but a victorious raid on Hell itself. Today’s sermons rarely unpack this, focusing instead on the Cross or Resurrection, sidelining the day when Death was defeated and Satan’s grip broken. Holy Saturday is Christ’s ultimate flex—His divine power trampling demonic sin and freeing souls for eternity.

Let’s reclaim this day. Holy Saturday isn’t just a liturgical gap; it’s the celebration of Christ’s absolute sovereignty over Hell, Death, and the Devil. The Early Church got it. We should too

Prayers for the two law enforcement officers who were shot in the line of duty yesterday afternoon. 🙏🏻

Florida: A suspect is dead and two law enforcement officers are recovering following a shooting Friday in Bartow that involved both a Bartow Police Department officer and a Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputy.

According to officials, the deputy was shot in the arm, while the Bartow officer was struck but protected by his ballistic vest. The Bartow officer was airlifted to Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center, while the deputy was transported by ground. Both are in stable condition and expected to recover.

The suspect, identified as Wayne Volz, 34, was shot multiple times during the incident. Officers rendered life-saving aid at the scene before Volz was transported to Bartow Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

BREAKING OVERNIGHT: Three people have died, and their bodies have been recovered after a small plane crash in Nebraska.

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office said that "a small plane was traveling along the Platte River south of Fremont when it crashed into the river" on Friday night.

"The three occupants of the plane have been recovered and are confirmed deceased," authorities continued. "Those identities will not be released at this time pending next of kin notification."

The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board have now taken over the investigation. The cause of the crash is currently unknown.

Los Angeles: On March 14, 2025, around 10:20 pm, Southeast Patrol Division uniformed officers observed a vehicle driving erratically and conducted a traffic stop on Imperial Highway, east of Broadway. From behind their vehicle doors, the officers ordered the driver, later identified as 35-year-old Mario Sanchez, to lower his windows and to place his hands outside his vehicle. Sanchez yelled profanity at the officers and, moments later, exited his driver’s door. Sanchez faced the officers, removed a dark object from his waistband area, and quickly pointed it at them, resulting in an Officer-Involved Shooting (OIS). Sanchez was struck by gunfire and collapsed in the roadway. Upon the arrival of additional units, an arrest team was formed, and Sanchez was taken into custody.

Officers rendered medical aid to Sanchez until the arrival of Los Angeles Fire Department personnel, who after assuming care, transported him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

No officers or other community members were injured during this incident.

The object Sanchez pointed at the officers at the time of the OIS was later determined to be a cellphone.

Force Investigation Division (FID) investigators along with representatives from the California Department of Justice (DOJ) responded to the scene and are investigating this incident

Officer Ronald Milligan has retired from the City of Parma Police Department after 25 years of service. Well done Brother.

Justice for Detective Joseph Azcona

The 14-year-old gang member charged with the murder of Newark Police Detective Joseph Azcona will be tried as an adult in federal court, according to U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Alina Habba. This decision ensures the severity of this crime is met with the full weight of the law.

Detective Azcona, just 26 years old, was ambushed before he could even exit his vehicle while working to keep his community safe. He made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the people of Newark.

We will never stop fighting for justice for our fallen heroes. Our thoughts remain with Detective Azcona’s family, friends, and fellow officers.
