🚨 Newcastle United have submitted plans to extend the Club's current first team Training Ground, whilst work to identify a new site for a future training facility continues.

Planning permission has been submitted for 1,350 square metres of necessary new-build accommodation, new offices/meeting space and additional support facilities.

The existing building will also be reconfigured to provide further treatment spaces and staff support areas, alongside improved front of house facilities and an enlarged players' lounge.

Eddie Howe will miss Newcastle’s Premier League clash against Man United on Sunday due to illness after being admitted to hospital late on Friday night, having felt unwell for a number of days.

Newcastle have confirmed that the Magpies’ head coach is having ongoing tests, and is conscious and talking with his family, with Jason Tindall and Graeme Jones set to lead the team at St James’ Park.
