Montana: This afternoon, Bozeman Police officers were involved in a multi-agency vehicle pursuit alongside the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office and Montana Highway Patrol. The pursuit began after reports of a road rage incident involving a weapon.

The suspect fled, leading to a pursuit that resulted in multiple crashes and ended on N. 7th Ave. when the suspect struck a Bozeman Police K-9 vehicle. One officer was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

His K-9 partner was evaluated by a veterinarian and found to be uninjured.

An adult male is in custody. Since the incident originated in the county, the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation.
